What is one customer actually worth to you?
Enter a few numbers about your business and see what a single customer is worth — this year, over their whole relationship with you, and in real profit. No signup, no email — and the math is shown below, not hidden.
A customer is worth, over their lifetime
$0
- Revenue per year
- $0
- Direct lifetime value
- $0
- From the customers they refer
- $0
At your 0% margin
- Profit per year
- $0
- Lifetime profit
- $0
An estimate from your own numbers and a deliberately conservative model (referrals are counted one generation deep). The point isn't the exact figure — it's that every customer is worth far more than a single sale, which is exactly why the site that wins and keeps them matters.
How the math works
No black box — it's plain arithmetic on the numbers you enter:
- Revenue per year = average sale × purchases per year
- Direct lifetime value = revenue per year × years a customer stays
- Referral value = direct lifetime value × referrals (counted one generation deep, to stay conservative)
- Total lifetime value = direct lifetime value + referral value
- Profit (if you enter a margin) = the value figures × your margin %
